Pilke series jewellery is made of Finnish birch. Stud earring metal parts are silver and nickel-free. Jewellery is made ecologically (zero waste). Wooden part of the round earring is born from the center of the Halo series round. We make the products in Finland. Jewellery is designed by Elina Mäntylä.

We are excited to announce a partnership with Dr.

We are excited to announce a partnership with Dr. Säde Stenlund @ideasade – a Finnish physician with expertise in public health. Her foundational interest is in health promotion i.e. how can we support health and prevent diseases even before they arise. Dr. Stenlund has been working for the past few years in health promotion, health care surveillance, and projects with dentists.

We will together spread knowledge about xylitol as an additional strategy to support healthy teeth. Xylitol reduces the harmful acids that are produced by bacteria in the mouth and thus protects the teeth. Xylitol use after meals is very common among Finnish people.

The Ministry of Health of British Columbia states: The use of xylitol and/or sorbitol chewing gum has been shown to be effective as part of oral hygiene, particularly for those at moderate to high risk of developing dental caries. Many people do have at least a moderate risk of cavities and thus xylitol use could benefit a large number of residents in British Columbia.

Vappu, also known as Labour Day, was originally meant to honor labourers and high school graduates, however, nowadays it’s mostly viewed as a beloved national holiday which means the end of winter and the arrival of a warmer weather.

Vappu must haves are Tippaleipä & Munkki and these are served with Sima!

The celebrations begin the day before May Day, and typically people head out to the parks for a picnic – it’s one big feast!
